Why is the product dangerous?
The tests have identified the following shortcomings in the product that compromise the safety of the user:
- The insulation between the primary and secondary windings of all three transformers in the product does not meet the requirements of the product standard for reinforced insulation.
- The capacitor connected across the basic insulation between the mains-voltage primary and the metal enclosure is not of the required type Y2. A puncture also occurs in the voltage test between this.
The product may cause electric shock to the user.
What needs to be done?
- Stop using the product immediately.
- Return the product to a Partco store OR contact our customer service team by email myynti@elgood.fi or phone 0207 981 130 for instructions on returning the product by post.
Remedies
Based on Article 37 of Regulation (EU) 2023/988, you have the right to an exchange for another similar product (FAL506FS12B) OR a full refund.
