New Hirose Connector Solutions for Demanding Industrial and Automotive Applications

Elgood’s Hirose portfolio has been expanded with three new connector series: FH63S, FH67 and AU1. These solutions have been developed to meet the growing requirements of modern industrial, automation and automotive applications where reliability, temperature resistance and high-speed data transmission are critical.

FH67 – High Temperature Resistance for Demanding Applications

The FH67 is a 0.5 mm pitch FFC/FPC connector featuring Hirose’s One-Action Lock technology. The design enables quick and reliable assembly while helping to reduce the risk of mating errors.

With an operating temperature range up to +125°C, the FH67 is well suited for automotive electronics, industrial equipment, medical devices and other demanding applications. The series also supports shielded FFC cables to help reduce electromagnetic interference.

FH63S – Reliable Connectivity in Harsh Environments

The FH63S series is designed for applications where reliability is essential. Its independent two-point contact design and wiping function help maintain stable electrical contact, even in challenging operating conditions.

Combined with One-Action Lock technology, the FH63S simplifies assembly while supporting reliable performance in robotics, industrial automation, LED lighting, cameras, smart devices and automotive applications. The series supports operating temperatures up to +105°C.

AU1 – High-Speed Data Transmission for Next-Generation Vehicles

The demand for high-speed data transfer within modern vehicles continues to grow as infotainment systems, displays and connectivity features evolve.

The AU1 series is a USB 3.2 Gen2 compatible wire-to-board connector that also supports DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI transmission. Designed to meet demanding automotive reliability requirements, the series incorporates a CPA mechanism that helps ensure secure mating and dependable performance in vehicle applications.
